At Key Stage 3, pupils follow a core curriculum that includes all areas of the national curriculum whilst still maintaining a personalised learning environment for all pupils, with themes of health and fitness and leadership running through all lessons.
 
Lessons are taught in mixed ability groups, each pupil has two lessons of PE per week. Activities taught at Key Stage 3 include: football, netball, hockey, rugby, gymnastics, dance, trampolining, swimming, personal survival, cricket, athletics, rounders, softball, tennis, badminton, fitness and aerobics, basketball, table tennis and cross country.
 
At Key Stage 4, all pupils also follow the core curriculum with two lessons a week being based on: football, netball, hockey, rugby, gymnastics, dance, trampolining, swimming, personal survival, cricket, athletics, rounders, softball, tennis, badminton, fitness and aerobics, basketball, table tennis and cross country.
 
Those that elect to study Sport Studies follow the new AQA 1-9 GCSE exam syllabus or the OCR Cambridge National Certificate of Sport Science and have an additional two lessons per week.
