Thought of the Week: Happinesshappiness

Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life”.
Omar Khayyam

Some days are just bad days, that's all. You have to experience sadness to know happiness, and I remind myself that not every day is going to be a good day, that's just the way it is”.
Dita Von Teese

Happiness is not something ready-made. It comes from your own actions”.
Dalai Lama

Happiness is a choice. You can choose to be happy. There's going to be stress in life, but it's your choice whether you let it affect you or not”.

Year 9 Photography Stay Focused...

Year 9 GCSE Photography pupils have recently been developing their artistic awareness and skill through the study of the contemporary artist Hattie Stewart. Hattie Stewart is an Artist and Illustrator based in London, UK. Although she is best known for 'doodlebombing' over influential Magazines, her tongue-in-cheek artwork moves fluidly between many creative fields including Fashion, Music and Contemporary Art.

Year 9 have chosen celebrity icons and have attempted to ‘doodlebomb’ in the background of their work, editing and manipulating all images to suit the artist's style. Their next steps are to take photographs of themselves and create Hattie Stewart magazine covers with their own faces!
