Year 9 Health and Social Care students had the opportunity to attend an NHS Careers event. They gained a valuable insight into the thousands of careers on offer in the NHS. The event also allowed them to have a go at some of the more practical elements in the job roles using up to date training equipment, such has supporting the birth of a baby, intubating a child and removing staples from wounds.
