On Wednesday 17th October history was made by our Year 11 Netball girls as they won their under 16’s Netball league going through the season unbeaten!! We also had a Year 10 team in the same league and they followed the Year 11’s coming a close second only losing two games! The girls involved in the netball squads are:

A very special mention to the following girls for achieving player of the match in the games during the season: Bethany Kosturczak, Becky Dunnett, Emily Dutton, Katana Ricardo, Natasha Futter and Maisie Booth!

Both teams have worked extremely hard in training working on set plays, footwork and defence ensuring they know exactly what they need to do at each point in the game. The teams have made huge improvement this year coming back bigger and stronger than ever before and their hard work has certainly paid off. Miss Rafferty is extremely proud of every single one of the girls for their efforts, hard work and dedication that they have all given to the teams in and out of training. Very well deserved and huge congratulations on such a fantastic achievement. Both squads are now working towards the Newcastle schools Netball tournament which is played in the new year.
