Creative Learning Week 2026

Creative Learning Week is always a highlight of the year, and 2026 was no exception. Pupils took part in a packed programme of experiences both near and far, with residential groups travelling to Rome, Cornwall, Wales and London, while others enjoyed a huge range of activities based in and around school.

The variety was extraordinary. Across the week pupils tried rock climbing, go-karting, kayaking and fishing, visited Chester Zoo, Alton Towers and Drayton Manor, explored Coronation Street, took on the high ropes at GoApe, and got stuck into team building, board games and film-making, among much else besides. All of this took place during a spell of very warm weather, which our pupils handled brilliantly.

What stood out most, as ever, was the pupils themselves. Staff across every group commented on their exceptional behaviour, enthusiasm and willingness to throw themselves into everything on offer. It was a tiring week for pupils and staff alike, but one that created memories to last a lifetime. A huge well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to all the staff who made it possible.
