As part of Biology Week, Year 7 students completed dissections of lambs' hearts to gain an understanding of the circulatory system.  Following a role play activity where the students played the parts of red blood cells, they then got stuck into the dissections.  Students challenged themselves to find the largest blood clot inside the hearts, as well as looking at the structure of the heart and function of heart valves - a really enjoyable interactive learning experience.
