We are looking for a Spanish Language Assistant to join our thriving MFL department.

At Chesterton Community Sports College, Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) is a core subject andall pupils study Spanish to GCSE level. We also offer three other option languages at GCSE and we are one of the largest departments in the school with six teachers.

The role is classroom-based and combines individual and small-group work to support pupil progress. Ideally, we are looking for someone with some classroom/school experience, but most importantly, an enthusiasm and passion for languages and an ability to help pupils at all levels make good progress. You will also be involved in supporting MFL teachers in the classroom.

Resources will be shared with you as we use collaborative planning in the MFL department, however, you will also be expected to tailor materials and resources to support pupil learning.
