Year 8 pupils visited Chester Zoo on Tuesday 31st March as part of their studies in Humanities.

The pupils attended a workshop about animal identification, including investigating animal bones and learning about the characteristics of different animal groups. The visited the rainforest exhibition and found out about the interconnections between the plant and animal species in rainforests.

On the tour of the zoo they enjoyed seeing the huge variety of animals with the bat cave and the big cats being particular favourites.
