This year saw the Game Design programme build on the successes of last year. With record numbers – 50 students – opting for the course, the diversity and depth of computer games created reached new levels. From creative and immersive text adventures, to fantasy and sci-fi shooters, to competitive racing games, there was no shortage of imagination. Students created their own stories, characters, sounds and music. The week saw collaborations between students in different years sharing ideas, techniques and knowledge, creating an atmosphere more akin to work experience than a teacher-led school activity.
