Year 9 girls have recently developed their own circuit training session to help them achieve a healthy active lifestyle. As part of their learning girls have looked at how varied exercises can improve different components of fitness, and put these together into a circuit.
The girls have also looked at what short and long term effects their exercise has on the body and as a result want to explore new exercise methods in the future!

One student commented:

"Creating the fitness circuit has allowed me to understand the benefits of exercise on my body. I have really enjoyed it!"

Miss Grocott who led the sessions explained:

"The girls have been excellent and made some great improvements in their fitness levels. They now have the knowledge to design their own fitness sessions, which will help them to lead a healthy active lifestyle!"
