Creative Learning Week has kicked off in spectacular fashion at our school, giving pupils a chance to explore new activities, develop skills, and make memories that will last a lifetime. With each day packed full of exciting opportunities, staff and pupils alike have been thoroughly enjoying the experience.

Day 1: A Fantastic Start

The week began with pupils eagerly participating in a wide variety of activities. From foot golf in Cornwall to exploring the Welsh Mountain Zoo, each group hit the ground running. Highlights included:

  • Disney: Early morning departure for a magical start.

  • Wales: Welsh Mountain Zoo visit en route to accommodation.

  • Cornwall: Foot golf on arrival.

  • Murder Mystery: Treasure hunts and mystery-solving around the school.

  • National Trust: Scenic walks up to Apedale.

  • Fishing: Trips to Cudmore Fisheries.

  • Amazing Animals: Cotebrook Shire Horse Farm.

  • Xtreme Sports: Ski Centre adventures.

  • City Hopping: Splash Water Park.

  • Gastronomic: Cadbury World experience.

  • Picture Perfect: Wildlife photography in the Peak District.

  • Vamos: Blue Planet Aquarium.

  • Fishing: More Cudmore Fisheries trips.

  • Amazing Animals: Fordhall Organic Food Farm.

  • Xtreme Sports: Biking at Delamere Forest.

  • City Hopping: Zap Graffiti in Liverpool.

  • Amazing Animals: Northfield Farm Horse Trekking and Alpacas.

  • Xtreme Sports: Delamere Forest Go Ape course.

  • City Hopping: Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

  • Gastronomic: Blakeman’s Sausage Factory visit.

  • Picture Perfect: Portraiture projects with props.

  • Vamos: Chester Zoo.

Day 4: More Fun and Learning

  • Xtreme Sports: Wycliffe Street Climbing.

  • City Hopping: Ice skating and mini golf in Nottingham.

  • Gastronomic: Pupils created their own culinary masterpieces in school.

  • Picture Perfect: Editing, sketchbooks, and a visit to Newcastle College for photography.

  • Vamos: Cadbury World.

Day 5: Wrapping Up a Memorable Week

The week concluded with smiles, laughter, and a sense of accomplishment. Pupils showed impeccable behaviour, embraced new challenges, and formed lasting friendships.   • Xtreme Sports: Watersports at Tittesworth Reservoir.

  • City Hopping: Go karting and Snugbury’s.

  • Gastronomic: Snugbury’s culinary experience.
