Chesterton Community Sports College has established a Fairtrade Group to steer Fairtrade forward within the school.

The group is comprised of pupils who are interested in Fairtrade and is supported by Mrs C Tilt and Ms S Booth. The pupils in the group are a subgroup of those already elected to the School Council so are experienced in debating issues and reporting back to their form groups.The Fairtrade Group had its first meeting on 28th January 2015 and now meets regularly, approximately once per fortnight. Members  of the  Fairtrade Group assisted with the planning and delivery of the whole school Fairtrade Day on 27th February.
