The Religious and Multicultural Studies Leaders from CCSC have been planning their first Community Day since September.

They decided that they wanted to meet the residents of Chesterton Lodge Care Home and take them a hamper of goodies to wish them a Merry Christmas.

We appealed to the pupils and staff of CCSC for items to put in the hamper and were overwhelmed by the generosity shown. In the end we had FOUR boxes of goodies to take to Chesterton Lodge.

Once there the choir sang a selection of Christmas Carols which the residents enjoyed with many singing along and a couple dancing away.

The residents were overwhelmed by the generosity of the pupils and staff of CCSC and applauded the pupils both there and back at the school.

A wonderful time was had by all.
