Greg Lunt has been nominated for the Sentinel/City of Stoke on Trent 'Junior Sports Personality of the Year'.

Greg only stepped into the ring for the first time in 2012 and there has been no stopping his success.

In the last 12 months, Greg has gone from strength to strength. He bagged his first title last January when he became the Midlands Royal Navy School boy champion, beating his opponent in 50 seconds. His talents were spotted by the England Coaches and Greg was selected to represent England in the Tri-Nations Championships in Scotland. He returned with an international silver medal – an amazing achievement for his first international competition.

Greg continues to train hard under the watchful eye of his coaches at Stoke Staffs ABC, whilst balancing the first year of his GCSE courses. We are exceptionally proud of his focused, committed yet modest attitude and we wish him the best of luck with his nomination and for the next 12 months.
