Chesterton Community Sports College joined in Sports Relief on Friday 21st March 2014.
Twenty four pupils took on the challenge of swimming the equivalent of the English Channel. Between them they swam an amazing 1700 lengths which translates into 22.5 miles in a total of two and a half hours.
All swimmers have been collecting sponsorship money and the final total will be calculated later.
It was a fantastic achievement for all swimmers who behaved and swam impeccably.
The swimmers were: Hannah Arthur, Bethany Stokes, Camille Hargreaves, Natasha Futter, Katana Ricardo, Maisie Ecclestone, Bethany Chell, Jack Madley-Wright, Reece Turner, Joe Wilson, Jack Rowley, Mitchell Coxon, Joel Edgington-Plunkett, Megan Futter, Hannah Brayford, Hannah Wilkes, Charlotte Wint, Darcie Bagguley.
