Chesterton Community Sports College took part in the Newcastle Under Lyme Athletics Tournament on Thursday 12th June 2014.

A squad of twenty two pupils from years 7 and 8 participated in the event. All the pupils displayed excellent sportsmanship and team spirit and were a credit to the school.

Outstanding performances came from Tom Lomax who won the 200m final and Natasha Futter who came second in the long jump. Both Tom and Natasha have qualified to represent Newcastle in the Staffordshire Championships.
