On bank holiday monday the Year 11 football team played a match against the staff team. This was an extra special event as the game was played on the pitch at the Britannia Stadium. The staff and student players alike were thrilled to play at the home of Stoke City Football Club.
The exciting and highly competitive match saw plenty of goal action on both sides. Jimmy Pettit scored twice for Year 11 and there was also a goal from Adam Beswick. At the final whistle it was a 3 all draw.
Chesterton Community Sports College would like to thank Stoke City Football Club for making this event possible and it is hoped that this may become an annual fixture.
