CCSC students from Years 9 and 10 attended the Staffordshire School Games on Friday 19th June. They assisted as sports leaders and officials at the School Games. The event involves hundreds of local children competing to be the best in the county.
The annual event took place at Keele University. It included county finals staged in a variety of sports including volleyball, tag rugby, rounders, cross country, tri golf and netball.
The CCSC students assisted with the tri golf and netball competitions and both the events went really well. The students who assisted at the Staffordshire School Games were: Ryan Cooper, Matt Ray, Dom Phillips, Lucy Owen, Hannah Wilkes, Sian Fontana and Megan Futter. Many thanks are due to these students for their commitment to this event.
