Year 10 have all started to study a key text for their literature exam this week. 'An Inspector Calls' will feature in their assessment at the end of the year and counts towards their GCSE.
In lessons across the department, they have been looking at life in England in 1912 and 1945, measuring the guilt of the characters using key numeracy skills and graphs, and utilising group work while practising speaking and listening and problem solving skills.
Pupils are 'excited' by the new text and 'looking forward to finding out whodunnit'.
