Year 9 Book Club members launched the CCSC Book Fair on Thursday 5th December 2013. They had worked with Mrs D Thompson, school librarian, to help prepare for the event in the library.The Book Fair takes place in the library and will be open every day at break, lunchtime and after school until 12th December. It's a fabulous opportunity to stock up on some great reading material especially as all the books are on sale at half price.

The highly popular school library is used regularly by many pupils for studying, homework and reading for pleasure. Literacy skills across all curriculum areas are highly valued at Chesterton Community Sports College and independent reading is an excellent way to develop those skills.
